Compulsory listening. 28 July 2009

This is compulsory listening for anyone who likes their jazz to be adventurous, tuneful, vital, intelligent with dashes of humour thrown in. If you like Hatfield and the North and similar bands and their sense of adventure and quirkiness, you will love this even better.

missing pieces?? anyone would think these were scraps from the cutting-room floor. not a bit of it. if you like "the health" you will love this album. in my opinion it is even better than their existing releases.

Surprisingly for a odds and ends cd this set is possibly more accessible and interesting than the studio albums. Maybe they felt that these cuts werent "way out" enough at the time. If you like the other cds then this is a must. Good Prog with good quality sound and definately worth a listen to
