This is the third Miss Julia book I've read, and thank goodness there are a few more for me to smile about! Miss Julia is a widowed, middle aged, former Southern Belle who just cannot keep her nose out of other people's business for the best possible reason - she knows best! She isn't unloveable, but, like Agatha Raisin, you may find yourself gasping aloud when she airs her views.....
If you love a cozy, this may be just up your street, although no murder or real crime to solve in this particular tale like the earlier ones. But when Binkie and the deputy sheriff decide to get married next Friday, down at the Council Hall, Julia takes over. After all, every bride needs a proper wedding, and Julia is just the person to throw one! Buy all of them and read them in order. Fun.
