This is the first in a series of collectable soft-back books. The book's central character Miss Bea, a playful little girl, is with her friends at the playground. Written as a story book and designed to appeal to children aged 1 to 4 years with engaging photographs and illustrations. Knitting patterns for the garments Miss Bea and her friends are wearing are found at the back of the publication. All designs in "Miss Bea's Playtime" are knitted in stocking stitch, written with beginners in mind they are either single colour or brightly striped. The instruction section of the book has been developed to include colour-coded patterns plus an illustrated techniques guide, making instructions easier to follow.

LOVE this easy to follow Pattern Book!

I love this book and have made two sweaters from it already. I plan to make them ALL. The patterns are super easy to follow and are in simple "line-per-line" terms, instead of the usual "knit until measures so-many-inches". No worries about getting the sides to measure perfectly. The patterns are all very easy. Most being stockinette stitches with ribs. I found that I could easily substitute other brands of yarn when I couldn't find the Rowan yarns in my local shop. Most call for cotton or cotton blends, which I also loved! Your toddlers will love these handknits. Sizes are accurate and go up to T4.

I never received the book. The USPS states it was delivered to my house. Apparently, someone stole it from my front porch. I really enjoy the author and her patterns/ideas.
