Product Description

Product Description

Hilarious, offensive, and with a bizarrely entertaining full-color photo insert of the famed shock-jock radio host in drag, "Miss America" is Howard Stern at his very best. With chapters about his ongoing battle with the FCC and his legendary campaign for the governorship of the State of New York, "Miss America" covers some of the biggest news stories of the last decade - from the Atlantic City penis sandwich debacle to an exclusive with Jackie O's embalming - fluid delivery boy, and, of course, Philadelphia's own fecal-obsessed Uncle Ed. Chapters include: The History of Howard's Hair; The Stern Ponderosa: Romeo Stern, Pamela Anderson, and the Yentas; The Fruit Doesn't Fall Far from the Scumbag: Covering the Biggest News Stories of the Decade; Long Live the Beast! No One Else Has the Right to Be on the Radio but Me; The Country Is Out of Order: Howard Stern for Governor; and, Extortion: How the U.S. Governments Fucks You and Me. Irreverent, obscene, and inimitable, Howard Stern is at his best in "Miss America". --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

About the Author

In addition to being Miss America 1996, Howard Stern is the author of the phenomenal bestseller Private Parts and is the governor of the State of New York. His radio show is No. 1 in the whole wide world except for the former Yugoslav republics and most of Africa. He also is co-author of the Oprah Winfrey cookbook and the ghostwriter of The Bridges of Madison County. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Screenplay Adaptation for Schindler's List. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

sick......... 19 Feb 2000
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is the foulest most disgustingly sick book ever written in publishing history. It is also the funniest book i've ever had the pleasure to read. We are missing out so badly in England, not being able to listen to Stern's broadcast. Thank God for the good guys and gals at Bravo for bringing us the "E" version of The Howard Stern show. Rush to get your credit card details now, and pace your order for Miss America. Paul Tompkins.
