absolutely essential for jar opening - even if you don't normally have problems. This is about the 4th I've bought - still got my original one from years back - but keep giving them to people.

I bought one of these for my wife as she isn't very good at opening jars and bottles. It has been brilliant, absolutely amazing. It's easy to understand and use.
She was even able to take the lid off of a plastic bottle that had got a bit hot and melted to the bottle. Definitely value for money and a good gift.

Great bottle opener-bought for my mum who has trouble opening jars because of arthritis-she is delighted!

This little gadget is simple but effective. We can now open bottles & jars without wrecking the lids with scissors, skewers & the like - and we can use them again; bonus!

Don't have very much grip in my hands and wrists and this small, cheaply priced, gadget does the trick. Have now used it numerous times to open bottles, jars etc.

So glad someone invented this for all of those lacking in the wrist and upper body strength! Really great for opening jars, bottle tops, most things really. A touch fiddly, could maybe do with a manual adjuster, but really, really helpful and useful none the less! If you don't have a man around the house, or just don't want to always have to ask them for help, get one!

Works pretty well, though you do need flexible joints to affix it (and that is my problem some days)
