Reviews

All six episodes from the third series of the BBC sitcom written by and starring Miranda Hart. After a public school education, socially inept Miranda (Hart) is having trouble fitting in with her peer group, especially her childhood nemesis, Tilly (Sally Phillips). To top it all, Miranda constantly finds herself in awkward situations around men, and in particular, ex-university chum Gary (Tom Ellis). The cast also features Patricia Hodge and Sarah Hadland. The episodes are: 'It Was Panning', 'What a Surprise', 'The Dinner Party', 'Je Regret Nothing', 'Three Little Words' and 'A Brief Encounter'.

Miranda is always welcome in my house. The episodes are invariably hilarous and have elements of pathos to which we can all relate - well I can anyway. I think that this recogition of the great absurdity of life as reflected in Miranda's work is what makes her mishaps so laugh-out-loud funny and a joy to watch. Miranda's character is wonderful, funny, impossible and refreshing. The entire cast is an amazing ensemble and each one is pivotol to the success of the work. Must mention the recurring guests - great when they reappear. Looking forward to owning the 3rd series. Such Fun!!

Loved watching this on TV so had to get the DVD so the family could watch it as many times as we liked. My daughter always puts it on for her sleepovers with friends.

Bought for my daughter's birthday, she was 10. Which actually says it all really! However, that is what Miranda is all about, she still taps into the fun of being a child and in my book there is nothing wrong with that. We loved it! I really love seeing my daughter absolutely helpless with laughter. And yes, we have been galloping together...
