This book has provided the reader with insights into the experiences of others who have experienced the power of Michael the Archangel in their lives. It has made a positive impact on my life and increased my knowledge of this well loved Archangel.

Archangel Michael has been the focus of my religious studies lately. A very good book even though in some areas I feel that Doreen includes too many examples and makes the book drag on in some areas.

I'm a big fan of 'The Lightworker's Way'. I also liked 'Earth Angels', 'Healing with the Angels' and 'Healing with the Fairies'. I loved the conversational style, practical and (surprisingly sensible) healing advice, and most of all the positive energy and joy that exudes from each page. 'The Lightworkers' Way' was a huge inspiration for me, one of the turning points in the new way I see my life.

'The Miracles..' was a little disappointing. Basically there isn't enough of Doreen in it. Most of it is stories from 'civilians', about their experiences with the Angel. They are interesting enough, and encouraging to those with faith in angelic beings, but to be honest, once you've heard one, you've heard them all. They are all variations on the theme of 'Something bad was happening, then I felt Michael's presence, then the bad thing went away'. I'm not knocking it -it would be amazing if it happened to you - but it's not so amazing as a second hand account.

That's my opinion anyway. If you think you would find lots of that uplifting or encouraging, then this is the book for you.
I imagine this book would also be great for those who feel they have a special link with Michael. But for someone with a somewhat vague interest in angels, healing and whatnot (like me), it would probably be a bit repetitive.

I kind of wonder if perhaps Doreen Virtue is running out of things to write about, what with the overlapping nature of alot of her books, her recent work of fiction, and heavy use of second hand accounts in this last one. Perhaps not, but she does write a helluva lot of books. If I were her I'd take a good five years off writing duty, enough time to develop and marinade some more original ideas. Then perhaps we could have another classic like 'The Lightworkers' Way'.
