previously ureleased on bluray, those 2 movies are equally very good from a technical point of view (the hd transfer) but completely opposite in their cinematographic result and even in their intentions. SOS is a powerful and dark depiction of 70s american paranoia, and also an uncommon mix of social and antropological issues and contraddictions, which killer case just help to make explode. It's kind of Do the right thing under thriller disguise. Miracle in Sant'Anna is not as bad as they say, but surely it's a minor film by Lee, and the constant balance between war realism and epic/romantic/humanistic aspirations don't help to define its real sense.
