Sorry to say I am unable to leave the very good feedback others have left. I must have had a bad batch. The most upsetting thing about this though, is we all know these things can happen, and it's what the suppliers do to correct any problem that counts then.
My experience was the following,
This was purchased in March to grass over a flower bed we no longer required.
The soil is therefore good and was prepaired correctly, the seed being raked in afterwards kept moist, and protected from the birds.
Miracle Gro Grass is supposed to grow through in 5 days. Thats the claim. We have had good weather since this seeding.
20 days later there is no sign of a blade of grass on this area at all.
On the back of the pack, it states 'Return with proof of purchase and be reimbursed in full, if not satisfied'.
So I did this, and received 'vouchers to the value' to use on other Miracle products!
Some 'Reinbursement' This is against trade discriptions to offer refund and then send vouchers.
Vouchers to use on other products of theirs is 'not' reimbusemet if I can't get my money back to give me free choice to buy what 'I' want.
Not only was this particular packet of seed complete rubbish, but so is their guarantee!
I complained to Amazon Customer Services and without hesitation they agreed this was unfair and refunded my money. Well done Amazon! and thank you.
You would be far better off buying B& Q grass seed at 2.95 a box, just as big, good write up, and the gaurantee of a 'Genuine refund'
One Star, as I can't place any lower rating.
