The new Mio 269 Plus satellite navigation system comes ready-to-go with detailed maps of 27 European countries pre-installed on the internal hard drive. The smooth, flat, pocket-sized body incorporates a fully integrated GPS antenna, spoken instructions and full colour screen.
Equipped with a new SirfStar III extra-sensitive GPS chip, the new Mio 269 Plus catches satellite signals faster than before and holds them better. Whether you're in the centre of a city surrounded by skyscrapers or in the heart of a forest, trust the new Mio 269 Plus to keep track. A faster processor means quicker route calculation so you don't have to wait long to get started.
Then there's the new Mio Map v.2 for CE GPS navigation software. The preinstalled POIs now offer phone numbers so you can not only find a hotel close by, but also call to book your room. The new compass mode makes it easy to navigate your way when you're walking around town. Mio Map even points out road signs and speed limits.

Great piece of kit, I have had this now for about 1yr and where ever i go it has got me there without any problems. I go to France and Holland most years and this has got me where i want to go it is great, when you are abroad it has a good feature that shows the Police when they are near you it comes up as a car with a flashing light on it also it lets you know what speed it is on what ever roads you are on, best buy for me over the last year.

Our 269 unit has amazed and disappointed in equal measure. The problem is that when is goes wrong (insisting on a u-turn when on a motorway!) it can be a dreadful experience. The support from Mio is non-existent. I would never, ever buy Mio again!

A great piece of kit,i had a problem when i first received it,i returned it and the problem was sorted. its realy easy to use great in the car and out,1st class display and voice commands. It gives spot on directions.
