Format:Audio CD
From the visceral opening of "Coming clean" to the final fading guitar note of "Michelle with one l" this album is a masterpiece. Both lyrically and musically "Four minute mile" sums up what being young is all about, from alientation to rejection the basic subject matter is girls but there is much more to it than that. Nowhere near as lightweight as blink 182 or Green Day, the get up kids can still retain the insane catchiness of pop punk while edging it with the agony of cascading guitars and at time whispered or screamed vocals. Listening to this album is a life affirming experience simply to know that there is a band that can explain exactly how you feel within 3 minutes of beautifully crafted music.

This is what you really call a great band. I couldn't believe this at first, a punk band with keyboards, WHAT? But honestly, IT'S A GREAT ALBUM. It opens great and it's blasting. If you don't like the first track, then the second one, 'don't hate me,' will rock your socks off because the vocals and the guitar line just makes you sing along, you don't have a choice, you have to. Catch y chorus lines and wicked drumming, it's what you want. This is better than Greenday, better than Wheatus, all that commercial stuff. This isn't hard punk, they are like Weezer in the way that they don't have an image, they just exist and make great music! You really have to try this if you haven't heard of them before, ( that's if you are a punk fan).
