The autofocus is accurate, quick, and smooth with the newly developed AF system using a Cross Hair Type AF sensor. AE incorporates 14-segment honeycomb-pattern metering. Eye-start Automation will swiftly activate autofocus and autoexposure when the user looks at the subject through the viewfinder. Photographers have access to shutter speeds up to 1/4000 sec., continuous drive speeds up to 2 frames/sec., and flash sync speeds up to 1/125 sec. The camera's simple operation and common sense layout are a tribute to the DYNAX 505si SUPER's design. The push buttons for basic functions are clearly separated from the unique Function dial, which provides easy access to advanced functions.

I purchased this Minolta for my African expedition, and I have to say that this Minolta is by far one of the best SLR's on the market. It not only come with two lenses but the quality of the photos is outstanding... nothing less than what you would expect from a Minolta. Also its easy to use, which is always a plus!... Would reccommend this to anyone and everyone!
