An excellent gadget which has brought all my knives to perfection.
It requires getting used to, but you soon realise the value of the edge produced and it is substantial and dish-washer friendly. It doesn't grind down the knives as a machine wheel does. Once your edge is there, then only a few strokes of fine tuning are required when neccessary. I even take it on holiday to strange kitchens![sad,I know, but it's just so good!]
