If you are looking for a general and brief overview of key protagonists in minimalist architecture this could be the book for you. The book lists a group of key architects/designers and gives a brief overview of their work and its key elements. Do not expect key drawings, sketches or pictorial explanations of the development of the works. The introduction outlines minimalism in its different forms and gives a general overview of its history and distinguishing features. Each architect/designer is given a brief overview with photgraphs and in some cases general floor plans and drawings - this is not consistently applied which may disappoint some and in some cases there is a limited focus on the overall work of the architect/designer.

BUT if you want something that gives you a general idea and identifies the main minimalist architects - this book would suffice!
