Minimal Game: The No-Nonsense Guide to Getting Girls [Paperback]

I have read many books and seen many videos about seduction,some good and some bad. With the advent of the internet and explosion of opinions on different subjects, especially seduction/relationships, it is hard and confusing to know which is the real deal, or lots of made up stuff. As there is no way to know who is an expert, amateur or snake oil salesman (A liar/manipulator). There are no credentials or objective system to say they are good, it is all based on hearsay, especially when it comes to seduction gurus or pick up artists.

With Aaron Sleazy, it is the same, it is just his opinion on how to handle your sex life. He has written an autobiographical book on his adventures with the opposite sex, in Sleazy Stories: Confessions of an infamous Seducer of Women. Which can be said to be a real eye opener to what is possible. He has also written a free book, debunking the seduction community, which also talks about in more detail what I said in the first paragraph above. You can get this book from his website ([...]).

The main thing to ask yourself before buying this book is: Does it work? Will it improve your sex life? Is it for real? Ultimately, is it worth it?

I believe yes.

Here is why:

1 - He does not promise that you will get all the women you want, or any women that you want. Unlike most seduction products.

2 - He is selling this book at a normal retail price for books, unlike most seduction books. Most books on this topic range from £15 to £70 or even more.

3 - He does not use a long sales page, with lots of sales and manipulation tricks.

4 - he has an active forum, which he contributes a lot to, so if you do have problems, he will generally help you out.

5 - it is based on steps to take, that you can do yourself, with out being fake, telling lies, or manipulating people. It is ultimately 100% up to you how well you do.

6 - He tells a lot of truths, which some might find hard to except.

7 - He talks about everything from the foundations, to mindset, to the approach, to gettin to sex and relationships

8 - This is not the usual dating advice that you normally get, it is different. I would say half between the normal everday advice and the wacky seduction guru advice.

9 - If you follow the advice, you will not get stuck in the friend zone, not be controlled by women, have options with women, have a life outside of women, not be stuck with women you dont truly want, and be on the way to becoming a man.

10 - His methods are simple. Not long, you dont have to memorise lots of stuff. But you will have to grow a pair and handle rejection, anxiety and fear, if you want to get the most out of it.

Negatives:

The whole premise of the book is to be honest with your dealings with females. There is a bit of an inconsistency here. For he does state that you should find change yourself for women (by changing your niche or dumbing yourself down or being indirect when approaching a woman) so your chances go up. Yet this means you are not being honest with yourself, which I believe is the most important thing in life.

It can be hard to accept some of the advice on here if you have not read a lot of seduction community readings. So you might dismiss it, cause it does not fit with your view of the world. But I would suggest you give it a try.

why should you believe me, am no expert on this field. I only know, that in my life, most of the stuff he has talked about has worked in my dealings with women. If you bought one book on dating, i would advise you to get this. The only way to get the most out of this book, is to do it, and you will probably see significant results in 3 -6 months (if you have been hopeless with women). Just like exercising this is no quick fix product, but it will help you in the long term.

'Minimal Game: The No-Nonsense Guide to Getting Girls' is a beginner's guide for men wishing to learn efficient ways to meet and begin sexual relationships with women. It assumes no prior knowledge of seduction. In fact, it assumes the reader has very little knowledge of many aspects of the social realm, such as basic fashion and common-sense views regarding women and relationships. This is a good thing in my opinion, as many men finding the seduction community do indeed have a limited knowledge of these areas, which more socially-savvy people may take for granted. This level of hand-holding is often required in the seduction community yet seldom provided. Minimal Game however addresses these issues very effectively.

Minimal Game is for two types of people:

1) Guys who feel confused and misled by the seduction community. If you have all the "pickup knowledge" in the world yet your results don't quite match up with that self-image, Minimal Game is definitely the book for you in order to make a fresh start. It will help clear out the garbage which has been put in your head by product salesmen and people who are delusional or just plain wrong.

One major message of the book, for example, is that you cannot get every girl to like you. This goes against the grain of a seduction industry which, for the last 15 years, has been selling men the idea that they can get any girl they want if they simply follow the method of that particular author. Sleazy instead explains that, actually, some girls will already be interested in you, some will be ambivalent, and some simply won't be interested in you at all. He calls these groups the "green zone", "grey zone" and "red zone", respectively, and explains that there's nothing much you can do to turn the "red zone" girls around, and that your time is therefore better spent on the "green zone" girls who already like you. He tells you in the book how to determine quickly which group she is in, and to simply move on if she is not interested. The book conveys a very time-efficient method for seduction in this way.

Another major message of this book is that your looks do matter. Sleazy explains that "game" is not the great leveller we have been led to believe, and therefore that improving your looks should be made a top priority. Thankfully he goes into great detail on how to do this step-by-step, providing basic steps for fashion and grooming, and solutions to fix common problems with your looks.

2) Guys who are starting out brand new in the area of improving success with women. The wisdom in this book is so simple, yet so accurate, that it is the sort of thing fathers should be telling to their sons when they come of age.

Sleazy explains the basic attitude one should have toward women and sex. He explains that women are sexual beings and that they enjoy sex as much if not more than men, and that a woman's interest in you as a man is primarily sexual. He also hammers home the point that plenty of women are out there looking for sex right now and all you have to do is go out, identify which ones are interested, and meet them. Sex is a numbers game, and if one woman is not interested, there are plenty of others who are. Sleazy also highlights some common socially-conditioned beliefs men have about women which may hinder their progress.

Sleazy then covers all the foundations of becoming attractive to women, including fashion, grooming and looks, and how to have basic interests in life to talk about which will make you stand out from Average Joe. Sleazy then instructs you in the basics of approaching women and beginning an interaction with them, including the aforementioned methods for ascertaining her level of interest. He talks about how to lead an interaction in a sexual direction from the very start via touching and how to go about asking her to leave the venue with you. He also provides a backup plan for taking her contact details and arranging a meet-up if leaving with her is not possible right away. Finally, Sleazy ends the book with a short guide on how to establish longer-term relationships with women, and talks about the relationship options available to you, including non-traditional arrangements such as "friends with benefits". Even if you have been in the seduction community for some time and are generally doing well with women, you could still probably learn a thing or two from this book.

I advise reading this book carefully, especially if you are new to seduction. With other personal development books, you may have become accustomed to picking and choosing which bits are of interest to you and pursuing those, whilst ignoring or glossing over the bits you believe you already have handled. I highly recommend that you do not take this approach when reading Minimal Game. The book really is minimal at only 92 pages, with the result that nothing is optional. Chapters such as "Foundations" for example read as a literal checklist for a man on the basics of becoming attractive. Even if it takes you 3 months to work through them all (which could happen if, say, you are heavily overweight), you have to do it or you are leaving yourself at an unrecoverable disadvantage, and no amount of "game" is going to help you. Honesty, pragmatism, and a grounding in reality is a prominent theme throughout the book.

Minimal Game is written entirely from the perspective of one man who has had a lot of experience with women. This does give rise to an inevitable problem, which is that the book fails to address issues which Sleazy himself has not personally had to face. For example, approach anxiety is not dealt with in much depth; neither is how to cultivate very basic social skills and awareness. Both of these areas may pose significant challenges to seduction newcomers and, even if Sleazy has himself has had no problem with these areas, an acknowledgment of them followed by directions to further reading would have been welcomed.

These criticisms aside, Minimal Game is still the best start-up guide to seduction I have ever read. If I ever have a son, he will one day become the proud recipient of my by-then dusty and tattered copy of Minimal Game.

At first glance Minimal Game appears quite lacking. Sleazy has not given us sections with canned openers and routines, or escalation phases and techniques. You won't find access to the `secret society', the `holy grail' or `ark of the covenant'. There really is no mystery hidden inside a well-guarded vault.

This is because seduction is a natural, organic thing that is inherent in all of us. There is no need for all the waffle that fuels a gargantuan industry all over the world today for socially awkward youths with too much money to spare.

The book is honest and straightforward, the way it is advertised - a `no-nonsense' approach.
What, then, is the key to success with women according to the author? It is in a number of controllable variables. Sleazy does not want you to pay him thousands of dollars to witness him talk about how he made a girl aroused with his hieroglyphic parlance, he merely wants you to be realistic with yourself regarding women.

First he goes over the hard reality that you will never get all those you want. Pleasant additions here are his thoughts on the women we think we desire, due to the external pressures we are prone to by the mass-media, versus the ones that really make our stomachs tingle.
Above all, Sleazy wants you to be true to yourself, to try to find your finest catch (taste being subjective) in the least amount of time and with the least amount of hassle.

Then he goes into what you can do to increase your chances with those that outright seem to want you and those that might be on the fence but with some pertinent cajoling will accept your advances.

After he goes over all the changeable aspects of your arsenal - or, to put it more simply, how you can make yourself more attractive to society at large but women in particular (while making your life more interesting in the process) - Sleazy briefly goes over how you can show a woman from the earliest point possible in an interaction your sexual intentions.

This has been the pillar of his minimal philosophy of seduction since the tender days of Sleazy Stories, where we read about his non-verbal escapades in the nighthouses of London and Berlin.

How, then, you might still be wondering? By touching her. Touch is the single most basic, discrete (if done suavely, and this will come with practice and experience) and direct form of ascertaining a girl's position towards you.

Throw in some suggestive eye-contact and you are engaging a woman's primal instincts. This body language skirmish will force her to come to terms with your proposal, or the possibility of the two of you going somewhere to release all the sexual tension you will inevitably build up.

If Minimal Game shed no new light on any unexplored areas for this reader it is simply because I have been involved with the seduction community for over two years now and know where the author is coming from.

But the positive reinforcement that what you are doing is right, that there is no need to rack up numbers to impress third parties or make yourself go through uncomfortable scenarios in order to woo the fairer sex, is always welcome.

Thus the book will be useful to many who believe they are underperforming or need to be doing something other than just living life to its fullest and enjoying the ride, making sure to expand their comfort zone and challenge themselves continually along the way.
