This book is fantastic for beginners in amking minatures right through to those more experienced. There are a great deal of minature scenes to make from a fary glade to a beautiful old tearoom. Everything is explained in full colour step-by-step photos and really easy to understand. An excellent buy also if you are into dolls houses as the bought furniture, food, appliances etc are all very expensive and it's dead easy to make your own with this book. An excellent buy!

This is a superb book. It has something for everyone, young and 'old' alike. The miniature worlds are created inside the most unlikely objects, magician's room from a box file/Christmas scene in a hamper basket and others. There are templates in the book to make things like hats, lamp shades etc. There is detailed information on assembling each of the items for your 'world' along with an explanation on how to complete each of the projects with as little cost outlay as possible, generally by using scrap materials which are usually thrown away. Every time I look through the book I find something new and exciting to read and my sister is using some of the ideas in her dolls house. The downside to all this of course is that you end up with loads of junk, toothpaste caps, bottle tops, etc, but as my dad always used to say 'Its all good junk so don't throw it out'

A truly inspirational book. The illustrations are superb and would fire the imagination of anyone. This book makes you look at everyday objects in a 'miniaturist' sense, in fact it encourages people to 'hoard' objects. It takes you back to the innocence of the child, where imagination was encouraged. Superb book!
