I have found this book very useful and have learnt from each job I turned my hand at. The book mainly concentrates on servicing and is clear and straightforward. From safety too getting through the MOT this is full of tips. The diagrams are extremly useful especially in tandem with the sound practical advice making this a worthwhile purchase for the novice.

I've had a copy of this book for some time (I've actually got 2 just in case) and where as I used to rely on garages when it came to simple servicing tasks on my 1990 Mini Cooper. Thanks to this book I learnt how to effectively carry out a full service, set the valve clearances (tappets) and grease the suspension components. There are loads of helpful hints and clearly illustrated images and it makes every task appear so easy and in most cases they are. So grab a copy whilst you can and save yourself a lot of money whilst keeping your classic Mini in tip top health. Oh and this book makes a good partner for the standard Mini Haynes Manual and don't worry that it says 'all models up to 1995', because a great deal of the information applies to all real Minis of 1959-2000 vintage.

This book so far is very good. But I have a mini innocenti 1001 and not to many books talk about this specfific model. So far so good plus.
