The product came 'complete' with rusty scissors, torn paper measuring tape (like the ones you get free in ikea) and the other items looked nithing like the photo (poor selection of threads, 3 buttons, 1 needle). Honestly cant imagine a less complete sewing kit! When I contacted the seller they inititally told me that they would exchange it or refund it but I would have to pay postage as that was included, plus a restocking fee. I pointed out that the item was not as advertised, faulty and the postage was free rather than included so I shouldnt really have to pay anything. Evenutally they sent a quite sarcastic email telling me they would refund the amount and just to give the kit to a charity shop. Firstly - no need to be rude when your product is obviously of no value even for you to to bother trying to repair the kit yourself, secondly - just because its cheap doesnt mean its good value when you can't actually use the kit for its only purpose, finally - why on earth would a charity shop want a broken sewing kit when they only sell things that are old but still working? So glad I hadnt bought anything of higher value with these jokers!
I was quite excited to use this basic sewing kit. The scissors were mishapen after one use ... there's very little thread, but that's fine. However, I found three safety pins and not a single sewing needle. What am I supposed to do with this?

Well it comes with needles and scissors, not sure what the rest of this stuff is though. You'd expect some basic black and white thread, but looks like they've decided to jazz it up with purple, light blue, orange, yellow, light purple, light brown, oh and pink! It's pretty rubbish to be honest, it's the sort of thing you get in a Christmas cracker... If you want 3 pound needles, this is the kit for you though!

Super sewing kit
Bought this sewing kit for a daughter at university and she felt it was "just what she needed" - all the basic items there to do minor repairs.
