The Picnic Blanket is ideal for purpose. One critisism, item description both on the website and the label attached to the item stated 'comes with toys attached' and a picture showing types of toy. The attachments are all the same - soft gingham type star shapes. The picture therefore is somewhat misleading. In my case it doesn't really matter as I was only interested in the style and waterproof qualities of the mat (which are excellent) for when my little grandson visits, but others may not be happy.Minene Picnic Blanket and Activity Mat (Dark Blue)
I bought this item to use as a blanket for my 3month old to play on in the park- however from the day it was delivered it has been pouring with rain so plan B went into action and instead I have itr on my living room floor for the baby to lie down and kick about on.
It seems to be great quality, the waterproof backing was the selling point for me! I like the fact that it comes with its own storgae bag too. My only slight criticisms are that the padding is not as helpful as I had hoped and it is quite bulky when one considers most buyers will have a baby/toddler and buggy etc to transport as well. I would have been happy to over look the bulk if the padding had been thicker and softer.
Despite this though, it is just what I wanted- a qoog quality, hard wearing blanket for my little one to play on inside or out which is big enough for me to join him on!
