I bought this for my daughter, as Mary Byrne was her favourite contestant on last year's X-Factor.
Mary gives a polished performance throughout, singing many of her numbers from the contest.
The CD is very easy on the ear, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of The Big Ballad.

Excellent CD. Had all the songs Mary sang on X factor plus quite a few others. I really enjoyed the whole CD - highly recommended if you like Mary Byrne - she sings dramatic songs so well.

Surprisingly good album I have to admit. I wasn't so sure when I bought it as she is someone from x factor. But after listening to a few songs I was wondering why she didn't win the show. Mary has a simply fantastic recording voice. On one hand, she has a great warm and soothing voice for some of the beautiful slow ballads. While on the other hand she has amazing lungs to make the big power ballads work amazingly well, but it isn't shouting or intimidating at all. Very 'listen-able' and enjoyable. Great pop songs on it (some I haven't heard before) mixed with a few classics from the 50's 60's 70's era. One or two tracks I wasn't so impressed with (but I find that with every albums) Overall it's a wonderful album Mary. Great songs with a great voice. Very surprising and I recommend to all!

I FOUND MARY BYRNE ON YOUTUBE.I LOVE POWERFUL VOICES.I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER MUSIC.SHE IS NOW IN MY CD PLAYER 1 OF 5 THAT I LISTEN TO EVERY WEEKEND.

Great Voice

Mary Byrne is a Star
I have nearly worn out my copy of Mary's CD as it is so lovely. The choice of songs blends well together and her voice is so pure
