5.0 out of 5 stars The Power of Mindstore, 11 Nov 2003
By A Customer
The Mindstore system is generally used in business and for people who are trying to improve performance in sport, or at work. However, i believe the program could be the answer to many people's mental health problems. I first read the book (and started using the techniques) after being unable to attend work for 3 months, as i had been struggling with panic attacks and agorapobia. Amazingly i was back in work, feeling totally relaxed, just five days later. Since then i have come off the medication i was taking and begun to live the life i thought id lost forever. The techniques in this book can change anybody's life for the better!

5.0 out of 5 stars This WILL change your life - if you let it!, 18 Sep 2001
Firstly, I sincerely believe that Jack Black's Mindstore method works. Since re-reading his books and attending his courses, I have absolutely no doubt of this. This book was my introduction to Mindstore and is, together with his other book, something to which I refer on a regular basis. I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who wants to change their way of thinking and their life for the better.

Secondly, there's no doubt that there is material in this book which overlaps with Jack's other book. If you're looking for an introduction to the Mindstore method, either this book or the other one, will enable you to take your first steps. I've found both titles to be invaluable to me at different times, however.. Ultimately, I believe that complete responsibility for achieving personal success DOES lie with the individual, and, this is also a fundamental core value of the Mindstore system. You CAN do anything that you truly desire, but you must believe you can before you have any success..

YOU CAN CHANGE YOURSELF, YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES AND YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD! THIS BOOK WILL SHOW YOU HOW, IF ONLY YOU GIVE IT A CHANCE AND PRACTICE IT'S VALUES.

In the words of its author - FANTASTIC!

4.0 out of 5 stars An essential companion to the 'Mindstore' book, 7 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Having initially read Jack Black's 'Mindstore' book, I decided to purchase the audio tapes - chiefly in order to have someone read aloud the various mental exercises included in the book. This in itself would be enough of a reason to justify buying the tapes. I was pleasantly surprised, however, that not only do the tapes include Jack reading through the various exercises, but also contain many live excerpts from his seminars, which really add a whole new dimension to just reading the book. He is a very entertaining and passionate speaker - and the tapes are a lot cheaper than £199 for a two day seminar!
