Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Lotus Organiser is a classic in on-screen time management. It offers three main ways to help you manage your work: time management, task management and contact management. Based visually on the filofax, it combines appointments diary, address book and to-do list. It alerts users to anniversaries and prevents the scheduling of conflicting meetings.

The design is simple and easy to follow. Appointments on the page can be dragged to alter their times, or thrown away in the wastebin, where they disappear in flames! (Organiser has always been known for its tongue-in-cheek features: another example is the ability to organise birthdays by zodiac sign.) The calendar and the planner can hold appointments and monitor long-term events or projects. Commitments for the day or the week can be printed out, and all the displays customised. Pop-up or sound alarms can be set for important events. The Address Book lets you record contact details as well as details of incoming and outgoing calls to your contacts. You can keep To Do lists and jot your ideas down in the notepad.

The latest versions from Lotus include GS (Group Scheduling), which this version does not support. (GS allows multiple users to schedule meetings jointly and manage diaries for teams. But this budget version has all the features that a home or single-person business might need, and is excellent value. --Frank Pennycook

It was not obvious from the description supplied and advertised by you that this product was not the latest version of Lotus Organiser product. When i tried to use it with the previous version of the Database i had created it was not backward compatable. Why should you sell a previous version of the product without at least warning the customer. The net outcome was that I have to key in the data again in the new format. There is not obvious conversion tool available.
Dissapointing.

Superb Organiser 3 Sep 2000
By A Customer
Imagine a filofax which you view on screen; that's Lotus Organiser. It is simplicity itself in using it and if you get stuck the superb on-screen help will guide you. You can make sure that you never miss appointments and birthdays, never miss anniversaries, and never lose all those important names, addresses and phone numbers. Just like a filofax, Lotus Organiser has several different sections for your use. To sum up - get out there and buy it!

Just as expected bought it to be as I bought it to replace an old copy which I'd lost the disk for.
