Even though I thought the CD Mindfulness Meditations for Pain Relief was very helpful, as one who suffers from Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome, I would first read Jon Kabat-Zinn's "Full Catastrophe Living" which details the program and results of his years of running the Stress Reduction Clinic at the Medical School at the University of Massachusetts, which should be of interest to anyone suffering from chronic pain. The entire program focuses upon meditation as a tool in helping one cope not only with stress in all its manifold variations, but chronic pain as well. After reading the book, one should be able to make better use of not only this CD, but others as well.
