They also said an unknown poet with no credibility couldn't possible reach the masses in his own right. Who are they? They are the nay Sayers, critics, and skeptics who didn't want to take a chance on me. So in turn I took a chance on myself. This particular project is more than just a book of poems, it is a story of one mans' destiny to reach the world through poetic expression. A task such as this, one would say is impossible. So I turn to the scripture Matthew 19:26 which states, with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible. Why would God choose a nobody for such a task? Well, 1Corinthians 1:27-28 states, but God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things, which are mighty. Who am I? I am a man of prominence set out to do exploits for the kingdoms sake. "Although wisdom is essential and knowledge a must, they hold no effect without understanding." --Cedric C. Smith

I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It is very thought provoking and inspiring. Each poems offers truth and honesty to the reader will at the same time offering hope.

This book is a true page turner. Once I read the first poem I could not put it down. I had to finish reading the rest. The anticipation of each one of his poems made me want to read the entire book. The short stories at the end are very encouraging. The stories speak about his life and perhaps the lives of many young men and women in the world who are going through trials and tribulations. Cedric Smith's book is encouraging, heart felt and inspirational. I would recommend this book to anyone. On a daily basis there is at least one poem in the book that can turn a sadden spirit into a gladen spirit.
