Amazing book about how to develop mindfulness in children. The author first starts by presenting the subject of mindfulness and why it's important in the crazy life we live where one activity can't wait for the next one. This is especially true for children. Practicing mindfulness develops a sense of inner awareness, calmness, gratitude , which is a skill children can benefit and an essential skill to develop at a young age. The author also discuss how we can teach mindfulness to children, the benefits of mindfulness for children, the rules to follow when teaching mindfulness to children, the myths about this subject and fun activities to do with your kids to cultivate mindfulness. I liked that the author uses lun and family oriented activities to learn and practice mindfulness like flower love, and mindfully green. Great book to share with your loved ones. Highly recommended reading for all parents or grand parents to guide and inspire the teaching of mindfulness in children.

This book is a great read and really makes you sit down and take heed of how busy everyone's lives are at gone and that children need to discover the simple things in life. I gave this to my friend who has two kids and she loves it too. The simple and easy ways to input mindfulness in to the kids are laid out really well in this book.

There are fun practices for you to complete with the children including a scavenger list (kinda like a treasure hunt)

You and your kids will really enjoy this.

This book will teach you how to create mindfulness with children. This is quite different than with adults, as childen have a much shorter attention span than adults, but it is still possible to work on mindfulness with kids and the benefits are huge!
