Intriguing and suspenseful - a good read (or listen) 2 Nov 2011

I enjoyed this tale of magic, and my 7-year old son did too. The main character is probably about twelve, at a guess. 'Minders' deals amusingly and tellingly with matters of family and school life, but has enough magic and danger to raise it out of the ordinary. The storytelling is lively but subtle enough to intrigue.

Lovely reading by Glen McCready, who brings the main character's thoughts to life.
