This alarm was bigger than I thought, so a bit bulky for a jacket pocket, however it was just right for popping into my beachbag, with the zip closed with a small padlock, and the cord looped round the sun lounger arm. If anyone tried to move the bag, the pin would pull out and activate the alarm.

the push button , which I was specifically interested in, offers only a spring loaded, push-to-test facility, rather than working as a on/off switch, which was what I was looking for (to have it sealed in a waterproof flexible case, then activate it and hang it overboard from a boat to act as an emergency diver recall system.

Much more difficult to activate and (especially) deactivate by pull cord tag when sealed in a case whereas an on/off switch would have been great.

As a standard panic alarm, no issues what so ever, I'm sure it would be a very good deterent.
