Product Description

Product Description

For more than 25 years, Uri Geller's world-famous ability to unleash the power of the mind has been the subject of public scrutiny, scientific experimentation and bestselling books. From bending spoons to reading minds, his exploits have been well documented and debated. Now 52 years old, Uri Geller is using his powers in a more positive and productive way -- to heal others.

Using "MindPower, " Uri Geller has helped people defeat illnesses which had baffled conventional medicine and has convinced sports stars that they can return to peak fitness faster than any doctor believed possible. Now he shares these amazing abilities and shows how each one of us can harness the powers of our mind for optimum physical and mental health.

In Mind Medicine, Geller shares his healing knowledge, gleaned from years of personal involvement in patient advocacy for the gravely ill. He has seen the problem that plagues modern medical approaches to illness: the division between people who treat the body and those who treat the mind. In this unique book he shows that the human mind is a powerhouse of energy, untapped by most of us and yet capable of restoring physical and mental health.

This latest spurt from Uri Geller is following the line of recent interest. A few years ago nobody would have cared but now we as a community are becoming more openminded and looking at alternative therapies and so forth. One reason for this may be the somewhat uncertainties about science and what it can do for us, thus we revert to nature. Geller has taken the affable and logical approach to combine the two. The remedies suggesed go alongside modern medicine. The simple idea of this is worthy of a top review, but it is also ver well written. You can read it for pleasure, but there is also an index for when the inevitable does happen and we fall ill. Truly wonderful, no home should be wihout one.

Throughout Uri Geller's career he has advocated the fact that the potential of the mind can be more powerful than most of us are aware of, and in this book he teaches us how we can employ our own "Mindpower" for the benefit of our own health.

From meditation to positive thinking; from dealing with stress to helping us choose the right complimentary therapy, this book final gives clarity to the hitherto confusing theories of how the mind can actually help heal and keep our bodies fit and well.

With numerous soundbites, various exercises and logical and clear references to orthodox medicine, this book is a joy to read, easy to understand and finally clarifies the link between positive thinking and good health.

Mind Medicine remains me of a book I read by DR. Norman Vincent Peale called the "Power of Positive Thinking" which sold millions. Uri teaches a person how to motivate themselves in order to over come depression with optimism. The great thing also about Uri Gellers book its emphases is on the power of meditation, dreams and mental exercises you can use in everyday life, especially on your job to stay calm. Learn how crystals have hidden powers and "Yes" so do the colors you ware. A very exhilarating book when you open it at random in the mornings.
