I purchased this book to gain an understanding of what Mind Maps are and if they will be useful to me. Mind maps in a Week gave me the understanding I was after. It explains Why mind maps work in relation to the way the brain works. It provides a description of how to create Mind Maps and has little exercises for you to follow. It lists references through the book to tell you where to find more detailed information. I highly recommend this book as a start to decide if mind Maps are for you and what they can be used for.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mind Maps, 29 Jun 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Mind Maps in a Week (Paperback)
I was taught about Mind Maps on a course that I am doing. I find them very useful and if you would like a bit more detail behind them, then this is a good book. If you've never heard of Mind Mapping before, then this is still a good book and you will probably become addicted to mind mapping after reading this! When I am thinking these days, I tend to mind map rather than make linear notes.
