5.0 out of 5 stars At last!!! 4 April 2013
By CG 10
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Like many others, I'm always looking for ways to improve my business and this time I may have hit pay dirt!!

The Holy Grail in business (in my opinion) is trying to find out what it is I don't know. This seems a really simplistic but effective way of helping me find that out.

There is nice blend of anecdotal evidence from others in business and some sound theories, but for me, this book pays for itself with the author's matrix. Unlike other books I've purchased in the past, this one doesn't feel gimmicky, so I'm keen to put this into action.

It's a nice and easy way to gain both internal and external feedback without having to employ rafts of MR agencies (driving costs up) and in my opinion, really helps to gain employee buy in.

In short, a well written book, some interesting opinions and a simple, easy to use diagnostic tool.

At last!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Minding and mending the gap! 4 April 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I have read this book with avid interest as I am always looking at innovative ways to get my clients to look at the gaps they have in their business plans. Not only was this a great read with indepth insight into the psyche of multiple business owners which made me reconsider my position on many issues but most importantly the working business model in chapter 8 is incredible.

From such a logical concept of asking customers/employees the same questions to gauge where your business may need to focus attention is a "no brainer" and with the reader being provided with all the tools any business can apply this and get great results.

This is an essential read for any business owner or anyone in a position of supporting businesses and aiding them in delivering their overall strategy.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent book 13 May 2013

An excellent and enjoyable read for a business book. I can highly recommend it for both large and small organisations as I believe all would derive considerable benefit from carrying out the Dice Matrix Model described in the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read! 18 April 2013
This is an excellent book. So well thought out and put together. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is in business. Sometimes we can get to complacent in our own company's, thinking that we are doing the right thing. This will guide you through each step so that you don't make the same mistake as so many businesses out there thinking they are the best when they're not. If you want to be the best company then you have to invest in yourself first, this book is a great place to start!
