This is not for the beginner apprentice of hypnosis. I have been studying hypnosis for a few years now and I must say that Dantalion books are among the every best books I ever read. Mind opening and closer to the truth than any other book.

The awfulness of this book goes beyond poor spelling and grammar.
The author cannot construct coherent passages let alone larger elements.
It is as if the chapter titles were created and then the author struggled to fill the pages in between.
He says nothing well, is repetitive to distraction, and disorganised at every level.

The writing is so transparently bad that any reviewer giving more than the minimum one star must surely be a shill or imposter !
It beggars belief something so obviously amateurish can even get to print !!

Actually i shouldnt be writing this, because this is a real gem for real hypnotists
and i love to keep this for myself lol ... but something says i must, since i am also
a hypnosis intructor who teaches this for years now in a similar fast and effective way.

So, I am not talking about the hypnotists who do it the hard way (indirect), but only
the ones that already have a little experience, and want to know and learn why
it can be soooo simple and so fast. It really can. No really.

I am one of those hypnotists: i have helped so many people with their problems,
in often ONE 15/20-minute-session! Yes, it can be done, but as long as you think
its impossible, then you just do it your hard way (wherin you can make many verbal mistakes).
As Dantalion puts it nicely: the power of hypnosis is underrated, because the power
of the mind is underrated. Dead on! Thats exactly the problem for lots of hypnotherapists.
It CAN be that easy to do. How? read the book, stick with it, do it, and be fearless!
(Oh, and take a course with Dantalion (or Jeffrey Stephens) for the must-have hands-on training)

By the way: Dantalion's definition of hypnosis is absolutely brilliant and says it all.

A MUST have for everyone that wants to learn how to really help people in a few mins using real hypnosis.

without doing it, but i still added them so you know i've read and studied before to say the least :-) )

Personally I found this book to be a good read with inormation that is not included in ordinary run of the mill hypnosis books. This would be one of my recommended reads for those interested in hypnotism as you can spend a small fortune on hypnosis books and not get anymore information contained in this book

Disappointing rehash of rubbish - Catchy title, No substance! 7 July 2009
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I was excited with the blurb of this book, so much that I wasted money priority shipping it.

Well, boy was I mistaken. If you have purchased any of the authors other books, then save your money as this title consists of A LOT of copy and pasted material (around 50 pages copied directly from his other titles - mind control patterns and perfected mind control), as well as about 15 pages copied from other sources detailing what other people through time defined hypnosis as.

When looking for the "secrets" that hypnotists don't want you to know about, I found none. At least the hypnotists I've trained with would have scoffed at the statement if they had the misfortune of reading this slapped together load of tripe.

The only hypnotists who may be surprised by anything in this book are those that have done a two hour course. Anyone else would know better.

As for the testimonials provided by others such as Rintu and Mark Savage, it is worth noting that this author has pages dedicated to on-selling those people's products. If that isn't coerced testimonial then I don't know what is. Honest testimonials and feedback hold more credence Dantalion!

If only a person could imagine buying a car that looked great, only to pop the hood and discover it had no engine... that sums this title up nicely.

Very disappointing given some of the material this author has offered in the past! Save your money with this one!

Refreshing source of information 10 July 2009
By Kathleen A. Sullivan - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Until now, the most helpful and honest book I've discovered about hypnosis and mind control has been Carla Emery's "Secret, Don't Tell: An Encyclopedia of Hypnosis". I continue to be amused and saddened whenever I read a statement from a celebrated professional that hypnosis cannot be used to influence humans to perform acts that would normally be unacceptable. I look forward to the day when our society accepts the reality that the power of suggestion can be used as much for harm, as it can be used for healing. I believe that it is especially essential - when working as a mental health professional with clients who have suffered from trauma or abuse - to use techniques and interventions that - unlike hypnosis - help to develop and/or reinforce those clients' INTERNAL locus of control.

Mind Control Hypnosis 27 Dec. 2011
By Jeff H - Published on Amazon.com

Maybe I am new to hypnosis, but I have been interested in it and studying it for a while now. I want to say that Dantalion Jones hit his mark with this book. It is remarkably easy to understand, and to follow. This book answered many questions I had regarding the process of hypnotism, and it clearly gave me directions and a pattern on how to conduct a full hypnosis session with someone. I have read other how to manuals and had to figure out how to conduct a session, and I must say there were mistakes made by me. Mind Control Hypnosis made a lot of things clear. I must say that the part I love most is the different places to creat in the mind. The place that where things are true, the place where things were once true but not longer are, etc. And the chapter on process state totally opened my eyes to what hypnosis it totally capable of. Sorry for the spoiler!

Dantalion Jones knows what he is talking about in this book. I know, because I am good at what I do also. I know a professional when I see one. I love his no holds barred approach, and his ability to just tell it like it is regardless of what others might not want him to reveal in his repsective field. So if you want to know what hypnotism is about, and true fundementals to practice it, I suggest you read this book. It's worth it.

Powerful and Informative 10 Dec. 2009
By C. Orr - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Once and for all Dantalion answers the question of can I use hypnosis to get someone to do anything I want them to? Most hypnotists will tell you emphatically that no one will do anything under hypnosis that they won't do while awake. That you can't make anyone do anything against their will. He answers this with the question of "how strong is your will?" It is possible to will yourself to break bad habits but most don't. It's possible to will yourself to succeed in a chosen path but most won't. For most the will is stronger to create challenges than to solve them. That's where hypnosis comes in. Two things I will say about this book. 1). In the wrong hands it could be very dangerous. 2). He needs someone to edit his books for spelling errors. As far as recommendations go what I will say is just like the public service adds you see about drinking responsibly, use this book responsibly.

A book that shines a light into dark corners 26 Sept. 2009
By Tom Marcoux - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Do you ask what's really going on here? If you want the unvarnished truth, this book will provide it. Dantalion Jones provides four specific elements of what gets people to do things that they later regret. That's not easy to read. The book is controversial, and it will make some people angry. Other people - perhaps you? - will say, "Now I understand, and I'm glad that I read this book."
