Comedian, writer and actor, whose stand-up is full of surrealism, nonsense and sharp wit. Milton Jones style is a quick-fire barrage of one-liners delivered with a goggle-eyed stare. He has performed regularly for Radio 4 and his three series of 'The Very World Of Milton Jones' won a Sony Radio Award. He was the winner of the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 1996, and was subsequently nominated for the main prize. He received the Time Out 'Best Comedy Performer' prize in 2003 and has been nominated for the British Comedy Awards. A comedy legend and one of the funniest men in the country.

As far as I can see there are 3 properly good one liner comedians in Britain today - Milton Jones, Tim Vine and Stewart Francis. And as far as I'm concerned Milton Jones is the best of them. With his brilliant charm and his out and out randomness he is one of the funniest comedians working in Britain today. I went to see Milton on tour and I promise this DVD gives us more of the Milton we all love. I would definitely recommend buying this DVD over any other this Christmas and if you get the chance go and see him live

Milton Jones is simply stupendous - hysterical from start to finish, with a machine-gun delivery of one-liners that's nothing short of prodigious.
I was actually in the audience for this gig, but it still took me two viewings of the DVD to pick up on all of the jokes, because I spent so much time laughing uncontrollably that I missed every other gag.

Bought on a whim after seeing Milton Jones appear on Mock the Week and thinking he was funny in the stand-up round. This is a very funny show if you like his rapid one-liner style of comedy and some surreal elements.. Some parts are a little dark but very few of them.

One liners grind on you after a while

very clever comedian, half of the time you can't see the punch line coming, if you like puns and word playing gags this one is for you, would like to see more in the future

I always get a laugh with Milton Jones
But it is the DVD editor that needs improving. The change between scenes was not smooth, feels like there is something missing

As good as Milton Jones is, you should be aware that his 2008 CD 'Hello' and 2010 DVD 'Universe Tour' feature about 90% the same material. Read more

Repetitive
I found the show to rather repetitive. It's probably better to see Milton in "Mock the Week" than to buy this DVD unless you are a big fan.

awfull
this is proberbly the worst dvd i have bought. never have i been so bored watching a comedy show in my life. i dont recommend getting this as it's not worth it.
