3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, 16 Jan 2005
I bought this after reading metalworking tool and techniques but I have been a bit diaspointed. There is not alot of new material in here. The content is not that impressive, there doenn't seem to be that much information contained within the book.

The photos and captions seem to be the main source of information but there is little detail. I am afraid that I was disapointed.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not very useful, 18 Oct 2005
This book is the barest introduction to milling and does not cover much useful material. For instance, machine setup is ignored and neither is there any practical coverage of feeds or cutting speeds for different materials. I don't believe the Authors' advice to use gloves to avoid skin problems is very sensible either.

Bottom line : avoid.
