Review

A wonderful original quality, both in terms of the text and the illustrations which complement each other very well. The emotions for each of the tugs and the ship encountered on the pages are cleverly depicted through some delightful facial expressions. There's even a fold out map of the world that shows where the ship featured in the story has come from. We loved it. The book is also compostable and recyclable but we think the book is well worth keeping!!! -- (Love Reading 4 Kids) This is a delightful and highly original new book...The bright, bold illustrations involve you immediately, and you can't help but engage with Millie, the new tug boat, as she eagerly learns about the arrival of the big ship Li from China. In the centre of the book, children will love the fold-out map of the world that charts Li's course to Haven Harbour. The explosive finish displays the original quality of the artwork and the descriptive language is perfect for reading aloud and expanding a child's vocabulary. -- (The Argus) Millie's Mayday makes a lovely bedtime story. The story is interesting and the pictures are absolutely delightful. -- (Babycinno) --Babycinno
