5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! 19 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This is a fantastic book that got me so pulled in, I read it in a day! It was fantastic, I was able to put myself in everyones shoes and that meant I felt everyones emotions too! Millie as the main character was fab! I felt really involved with her and her feelings and I kept thinking OMG all the time. I really felt for Collette too. I don't like to spill too much like some reviewers so I will just say for £1.50 it was GREAT! I really hope Anna releases more books as there is market for someone new providing great chick lit! Also, I only saw a couple of grammatical errors, so the person cringing is overreacting I think and really, no one is perfect and for £1.50 when the book gets you so involved you miss any mistakes!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! 19 May 2012

I really loved this book and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. I randomly stumbled across the book because I love all things America, esp New York and I'm so glad I did. I found all of the characters relatable, apart from the horrible mother! But every good story needs a good villain.

I would absolutely recommend this book to my friends. I was sad to get to the end & I want more!

A fantastic book which I couldn't put down. The characters were really easy to relate to and it felt like I was there living Millie's life. It was easy to have empathy for all the characters even the not so nice ones! A great book and throughly looking forward to the next one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Millie and the American Wedding 5 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great story, was sucked in from the first page! Loved the main character and the bride too!! Best part of all I felt I was in NYC with them but the author didn't go on and on about the scenery! Laugh out loud funny in some areas and very sad in others. Can't wait for book two.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good book 16 Mar 2013
By Elaine
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed this story. At the start I thought the story was progressing too fast but it turned out to be just perfect.

The writing style took a bit of getting used to but I can safely say that the authors writing gets better in future books :) looking forward to the next one

Not a bad story, easy to read and a good choice for a holiday read perhaps. I liked it enough to go on to read Millie and the American University.
