When I first heard about this release - I thought it would not work - but when i first heard it with those wonderful kids from Chicken Shack - I was impressed. Cliff - you've done it again. Recently went to his return concernt - Off the Record at the Albert Hall and he sung it with the audience joining in - I got this incredible feeling in my stomach - it was fantastic. Well done Cliff - at 60 you are better than ever!!!

Auld Lang Syne is so familiar to us Brits that combining it with the Lord's Prayer seemed very corny; but it was hugely popular in Germany and other countries where the melody is new to them. Of course, the melody is very catchy when you first hear it. I find it outrageous that Cliff was banned from the BBC because of this record because many other artists have produced absolute rubbish and the BBC merrily broadcasts that. It seems like victimisation. Anyway, this record is not to my taste, but I bought it for a German friend who loves it.

God Inspired

The Lord's prayer set to the music of "Auld Lang Sine". Anyone living in Britain sings "Auld Lange Sine" every New Year's Eve and to put the Lord's Prayer to this music had to be God inspired. I can't listen to it without getting emotional - awesome!

Millennium Prayer - Cliff Richards

This song will forever hold a special place in my heart. You see, my daughter's best friend was killed in a skiing accident (she was only 15)on 3/13/01 and on 2/11/01 she was in a beauty pageant and her talent was "signing" to The Millennium Prayer. This song touched everyone and her "signing interpretation" was absolutely beautiful and needless to say, she won her title at this pageant. At her funeral, they played the video of Jennifer signing to this wonderful song and everyone was in tears. Beautiful arrangement. Thank you for this song!!!

The Millennium Prayer

When I heard the Millennium Prayer on the Radio, I fell in love with it. This song has been the most requested song on our local Christian radio station. Great melody and words from The Lords Prayer makes ones hair stand up on the back of your neck. Worth a buy for you and your kids to listen to!!!
