superb little disc capturing the finest moments of the Dregs ist three releases, so depite it not being a definitive anthology its certainly a fantastic intro to their music. For years i was unaware that one of my fav peces of music from my youth on the friday rock show bbc radio 1 was in fact take off the top by the dregs so i was over the moon to find it on here, the musicianship is first class and steve morse has far more freedom here than he has with deep purple.Take a chance on this its like a heavy version of steely dan ha ha,love it and it will love you back .

Adequate Overview of Early Dregs,
By Todd and In Charge - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Millennium Collection (Audio CD)
This collection captures the first three albums of this Georgia hard-fusion, prog band. Given the lack of alternative collections out there, this one will have to do. Andy West's remarkable bass runs remain intact, and sound as great as ever. The "hit" Refried Funky Chicken is there, as is the wistful, romantic What If.
That said, this great prog/jazz/fusion band deserves a better, more comprehensive collection. They did release a great deal of solid music after 1982, can someone please pull it all together and give these guys their due? 1 of 2 people found the following review helpful:

Perfectly re-remasterded,
By Håkan Ljung "Håkan" - Published on Amazon.com

This cd based on material from the 3 first albums released 1977-79 is a good collection of songs. Even if carachters of sound differs from record to record they do work well together on this cd. The digital re-remaster is excellent.
