My 17 week old German Sheppard (Brian) is now house trained and obedient. My home is intact and I still have all my chair legs. He is a happy, calm and relaxed dog. Cesar Millan has trained me to train my dog. Clear and easy to follow instruction together with good film production make this DVD a dog owners essential tool. Highly recommended by Brian. This is a good DVD which talks you through the steps to take, from choosing the puppy, bringing it home, house-training, introducing experiences; basically all you need to know to bring up your puppy to be well balanced, and not a crazy vicious dog or a nervous wreck. I enjoyed the DVD as it has been a great visual aid, especially what to look for when chosing the puppy, and controlling separation anxiety, however I highly recommend also getting the book of the same name that Cesar has written, as it goes into a lot more detail. Overall I am glad I purchased it.

I bought this DVD for my son who recently acquired a Chocolate Labrador puppy. Having watched Cesar Millan's series on Freeview TV in the past and found it compelling viewing (even though I don't have a dog!), when racking my brains for a birthday gift, Cesar Millan's programmes immediately sprung to mind. Son's verdict of DVD - EXCELLENT, REALLY INTERESTING + HELPFUL.

Raising the perfect puppy

A very very good DVD with lots of helpfull tips and tricks, Cesar Millan is a master of his trade and understands the behaviour and quirks of dogs, a must have for puppy training

For the beginner
