I have been a fan of Milk Inc for about 3 years now, and I had always wondered why their amazing trance-flavoured music had never made an impression on the UK. Thankfully, earlier this year, "In My Eyes" blasted straight into the UK top 10 and Milk Inc now look set to establish themselves at the forefront of the Eurotrance scene within the UK.
Their debut album is crammed full of great melodies, catchy hooks and full-on beats - here's a rundown of the tracklisting:
1) Walk On Water <9/10> - a very strong opening track, this current single has a massive chorus and dreamy synth hooks.
2) Land Of The Living <10/10> - starts where "Walk On Water" left off, this track is one of the highlights of the album - a well-delivered vocal line and the frantic synths during the chorus, as well as unique "squeaky" interludes make this a surefire winner!
3) Never Again <10/10> - a slightly harder track, with amazing tom-tom drum blasts and another hook-laden melody - this one sounds fantastic played REALLY LOUD!!!
4) Livin' A Lie <10/10> - this always has been and always will be my favourite Milk Inc tune - the interludes between chorus and verse sound a bit like "Phatt Bass" by the Warp Brothers, the vocals are perfectly complimented by the dreamy synth backing - this must surely be the next single!!!
5) In My Eyes <9/10> - everyone knows this one by now! Here, the vocals take more of a back seat to the synth hook, which will stick in your brain for ages - I love the way this track slowly builds to a mind-blowing climax!!! DJ Philip did a fantastic job of producing this one!

This album includes some really catchy tunes, with great lyrics that just make you want to join in! The keyboard lines really add to the mix, and keep the tracks flowing nicely. 'For no Reason' (RnB) and 'Midnight in Africa' (Instrumental) provide some variety, and although neither really work with Milk Inc's dancey style, it's nice that the album doesn't all souns the same.
There are a few songs that I usually skip past, but the rest are outstanding - one of the best albums I own.

I am a huge fan of club music, and have been for quite a while. And out of all the albums i have ever bought, this is undoubtebly the best. There is not one bad song on it. It starts off in familiar territory, the singles, walk on water, land of the living and some similar tracks; never again and livin the lie. Then comes the big single, In my eyes, before we burst into the interesting second half. For no reason is r'n'b, while sweet surrender is more club-styled, but probably the weakest track on the album. Time has stood still has a wonderful guitar riff which keeps it going, while Midnight in Africa is a faboulous instrumental. La vache is another single, while oceans and losing love return to Milk Inc's club style. The album finishes on a high note with the superb Inside of me - my favourite song ever. This is and essential purchase for anyone who is into their club/trance music. Faultless.

I was introduced to Milk Inc. about a year ago, and ever since, whenever I heard a new song by them, I was imediatly impressed by them. Every song is full of energy, enough variation in the music to make it interesting, and the vocals and lyrics are top notch among electronic music. I'd suggest that anyone remotely interested in techno to get this cd.
