I got this backpack after I requested for Christmas. As a member of the Air Training Corps, I find myself quite often venturing out into the unkown. This back pack is to start with very firm and solid. You know even from the moment you pick up this product that it is a piece of quiality and serious kit. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to assess this product in its prime on an expedition. But after checking all the features thoroughly I can confindently say that this product is indeed worth every penny, and is ideal for any explorer or traveller.
However, there are a few minor errors. The biggest being the two detachable 5L packs on each side. They are attached by a zip, a tough velcro strip, and a strap. After being able to free the pack from the zip and velcro I noticed a problem with the strap. The black toggle also controlled another strap that went across the front of the pack. To remove the desired 5L pack one had to trace the strap and carefully take it out. Once the strap was out it proved difficult to return it home. A set of instructions would be a nice accompaniment.
This slight flaw however is not enough to detract from the excellent standard of this product. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great Backpack. It arrived swiftly first of all and was all packaged very nicely. When you open the packaging the first thing you will notice is that this has a lot of straps, this is good because nearly everything on this bag is adjustable for that perfect fit but the straps might be slightly annoying because there are a lot. The 2 side pouches are held on with very strong velcro and won't fall off, they are also attached with a strap behind the pouch just to make sure. The inside of the bag is lined with waterproof material and it can be fastened at the top, this added with the rain cover makes it very waterproof. There are plenty of pockets and loops for extra little things you need to carry. The one little niggle I have is that there are no instructions so figuring out some of the adjustments, especially the one for the side supports are quite tricky to figure out, but once thats done its pretty easy. Overall this is a great bit of kit; comfy, decent size, good adjustment and waterproof.

Not been camping yet but my first impression is good looks very strong,don't know what the 1 star reviewer did but either faulty or done something wrong,lots of pockets huge size can carry 2 roll mats on the bottom straps,i like it,will post an updated review when i have been away this is just my first impression,Fully waterproof the inside main compartment is waterproof plastic and it has a rain cover which comes out the bottom.It also has lots of pockets big and small some 2 i found only yesterday and plenty straps to hang or strap things on.
