beginner at Turkish 1 July 2005
I thought this would be a good pocket guide, unfortunately it is aimed at the Turkish tourist speaking English, All the English words are spelt out how they sound, but none of the Turkish ones are. so not really much use for a trip to Turkey !!

I found this book to be a valuable resource both whilst I was in Turkey and as an aid to learning the language.Would highly recommend it !

Handy little book 2 Aug 2011

I purchased this book to help me on my Turkish holidays. So far I have lost two copies by giving them to my Tukish friends, who find them useful in dealing with other customers. I do say, "A great little book".
