This is a very good book if you're familiar with bobbin lace. The instructions are easy to follow, everything is explained with pictures or drawings. If this will be your first time making Milanese Lace (like me) this is a very good book to buy.

I chose this books because I wanted to learn the way of doing milanese lace.

I have seen above the book and it seems to be very complete and its content is very well exposed as to learn milanese lace.

I would recommend it to people wanted to learn milanese lace (and I recommend every people to learn and make lace-bobbins).

Regards,

Mario Senovilla

Lacemaking the Milanese way 28 Jan. 2001

Format: Paperback
This book covers a vast array of decorative braids which are the foundation of Milanese lace. A number of fillings are also covered. The last half of the book is filled with lovely patterns both traditional and modern. A truly comprehensive book for beginner through intermediate.

This book should be in everyone's lace library. It includes many helpful basics of bobbin lace and lots of detailed discriptions on how to do some of the most popular decorated braids. Photos of traditional patterns are included with their prickings.
