I've been looking for a decent traditional Parka for ages. I'd bought (and returned) a £30 old-school one which are common online, the type that look like they're from the 70's with the orange lining, however, it was wafer thin and almost useless. I was dubious about the price of this Parka given the price, but after reading other reviews I decided to buy the M and L and return the one that fit. I'm slim, 6' 3" and the large is perfect fit for me. The Parka isn't heavy, but it's very filled, and very warm. Today, storms are hitting Scotland, it's been 3c with 30mph winds and also some snow - I didn't feel the cold at all. It seems a very good quality coat, especially for the price. Please note, this is a traditional NB3 Parka, so the zip and buttons go down to the waist and not the full length of the coat. It was designed for the military so I assume the zip only going to the waist is perhaps there as not to restrict leg movement? just a guess.
