Very handy to have on your person. I bought in for two reasons, 1. I often get a bit lost walking my dogs in the country parks and it helps to get me on the right track. 2. The husband is taking up astromony and needs to know where north is to find some of the planets. It is great for both. It is the size of a one pence piece and I hadn't read that it as a button compass and had the fit of giggles when the husband opened the packet and it came out. So be warned it is very small but very handy.

Bargain, no frills, compact, ideal if you need a quick indication of N E S W. A little slow to orient but steady.

My 4 year old grandson enquired about the compass on my sat nav recently. This small instrument is not only a good introduction to a child but also very accurate.

Mil-Com Button Compass
Great little compass. I use it on a motorcycle, superglued where I can see it. It seems to be accurate and waterproof.

NOT ACCURATE

I wanted a cheap compass so I could put up a weather vane in the garden and get the North in the right place so this ticked all the boxes.
