I bought this book because I found that as an Art expert on Water Colour Challenge on Channel 4 Mike Chaplin always has something fresh and constructive to say. As it turned out the book is a revelation. He makes it all so interesting and his painting are fabulous, all the tips he gives are practical and as well as advising on expensive items he also give hints on using easily available articles. His tips are so down to earth and suit both the beginner and experienced painter. Even if you do not paint buy the book for the pictures. MORE, MORE, MORE PLEASE MR CHAPLIN
