This album is Ted Nugent in his early days. His unbridled raw energy is felt through the entire album. Side "A" has only three songs with lots of solos. This album brings back memories of the times and tribulations of the 60s beforeWoodstock. The memories this album brings back are to a time of peace and love and are haunting. And the philosophy of the song "Of Shades of Green and Grey" give me a warm feeling in my heart.

For all those disappointed, including myself, about the cut version of Proigal Man on this CD, it is now found on the new Best Of CD "Loaded For Bear"

Album came alive on CD. Unfortunately the entire version of Prodigal Man was not included. It got hacked. Why? So we could hear 'Sobbin in My Mug of Bear'? What a letdown. I agree that the quality could have been better, but nonetheless it was good to hear these tunes on CD cranked up.
