This is an impressively well researched and structured book (as all the 'Classic Car Series' books indeed are)that conveys to the reader an enormous amount of information on the classic Mini. The chapters dealing with the development of the car and its use on competition are especially good in spite of a writing style that, altough knowledgeable, is occasionally a bit dry.
Good as it is, this is a book from the Eighties, so it only has 26 colour photos, but the (many)black and white photos are contemporary to the events described and pretty good too.If you only have space (or money) to have one book on the Mini this is it and that will remain, at least, until the eagerly awaited Jon Pressnel book is published
