    1.0 out of 5 stars Fake 22 Sept. 2010
    By Fis2
It was not Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On Light.
It was a cheap clone with only a led a bad quality.
I've got a money refund without problems, but don't buy this item.

United Integral answered: " We do not sell "Mighty Bright" manufactured items. We only meant that it is a Might bright light.
    Astounding.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap Knock Off 20 Sept. 2010
    By cybrpnk
This item bears little resemblance to a real Mighty Bright. There is absolutely no branding information on the packaging or on the item itself. The overall quality is nowhere near as nice. The light is a single LED, rather than the two LEDs in the real thing. The light of this single LED seems to be a bit dimmer than a single LED of the real thing. The item I received bears almost no resemblance to the photo! I would rate this zero stars if I could.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does the job but... 25 Dec. 2010
    By marcoscu TOP 500 REVIEWER
I am not the first to question here if this is indeed a device designed for the Kindle 3or if it just a example of opportunistic marketing. Yes, it does work with the Kindle 3 but the clip is oval in shape and when pressed flush to the case in the way that will give the most secure grip it overlaps the screen. It may work better with an earlier version of the Kindle. I will upload a photo to illustrate this. That aside the device seems well made and sturdy and give a good even illumination. There is no paperwork enclosed and although the batteries are preloaded and a small slip is enclosed listing their part number, there is no information on the type of external power adapter the light works with. It would be easy to overlook the small power socket on posterior face of the clip itself.

    The Good
    Sturdy build quality
    Good illumination
    Not expensive

    The Bad
Poor design means the clip is less secure than it could be on the Kindle 3
No documentation or mention of an external power source

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality, not for kindle 8 Sept. 2010
Not sure if that was XtraFlex2, came in strange packaging without mentioning a manufacturer anywhere. Quality is awful, metal spin holding the clip drop offs after opening the clip for 3-4 times.

Didn't get how is that Kindle Version. There is simply no way to clip it to kindle - clip is too big and in addition to that can't grip kindle as it's curving thinner to the edges. Probably you need a case for kindle and then clip the light to the case, but like using mine without.

Won't return it because I found it useful when reading real hardcover books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mine was ok 2 Feb. 2011
    By Piero
Amazon must have changed something because, contrary to the many bad reviews seen so far (which I hadn't read before buying this item), my Mighty Bright was a real, nice working Mighty Bright as advertised.
It has two leds that cast an even light all over my Asus DR900 and the reading is very pleasing.
Overall I'm quite satisfied with it.

Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On Light (Kindle Version) Black

It says 'Kindle Version' but guess what? it clips to my Sony PRS-600 just as well. Ordinary books and magazines too. It is superb. I use it on half brightness most of the time. Easy to switch on, change to half brightness and off. Makes reading in a darkened room a joy.

    5.0 out of 5 stars A great reading light 11 Feb. 2011
I bought the Mighty Light to go with my new Kindle and it is very handy for reading on my side of the bed, without waking my husband! The light is small but powerful and directs straight onto the 'page' illuminating just what you're reading and not the whole bedroom. I also use the light with ordinary books and highly recommend it.
