The Vusion Craft Light is the tool of choice for crafters who work in a variety of settings, and need a portable light-plus-magnifier that can handle unusual positions. It features two rugged LEDs set into a single light head and a 2x magnifier. Light and magnifier are on separate goosenecks, giving you control over the best angle for each. Set into position on its sturdy, compact base; rubber stoppers keep it from slipping. Or, attach the entire unit to a metal surface; a strong internal magnet holds it tight – even upside down. When you need the light and magnifier as close to your work as possible, remove the light from the base and attach its padded clip to a table or other solid surface, including a loop or frame. If you take projects out and about with you, the goosenecks fold up compactly for storage in your handbag or craft bag. This versatile tool leaves your options wide open, so you can focus on your handiwork.

Haing brought one of these for myself last year it has been regular use ever since. I find if you use long life batteries they last for ages. This one was brought as a stocking filler gift by my brother in law for his wife as she has wanted one for ages since she saw mine. The good thing is the added bonus of the magnifying glass which makes close work far easier, its light and compact and the arms stay put wherever you extend them to. All in all brilliant.

I bought this lamp for figure painting. The light was so dim that I sent it straight back; better off spending more.
I've stuck this on the side of the fridge and it is invaluable for helping me to fill insulin needles which I can no longer see easily (and reading the cooking instructions on ready meals/instructions on pill bottles).
The best little light I have tried and leaves me with both hands free to fill insulin needles.
To be honest I could not manage without this handy little helper.
