Product Description

Product Description

Readers, rejoice! The UltraThin LED Book Light is the first model you’ll clip successfully to just a few pages of a paperback or magazine. It pulls it off because it’s feather light. And slim. Think back pocket slim. The minimalist design holds a few surprises: a petite hinged head tilts forward up to 90 degrees; a metal clip folds out from the body to create an array of free-standing angles. Clip slides into place, rather than clasping, but holds firm to pages and various fabrics. The teensy bulb packs a wallop: a well-lit diameter great for evening walks, lighting a room, or catching up on Cosmo, err, Sartre.

Product Description

Mighty Brights most compact and convenient light allows you to adjust the head to illuminate whatever you are reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars The bees kness of reading lamps 27 Jan 2012
By CjW TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE VOICE

I've gone through a few, quite a few.
M&S lite, Waterstones, Pocket Book lite and the useless 'If Really Tiny LED Night Reading Book', all awful in practice!

The problem with the little stick like lights is that they use tiny batteries, which last about an hour.
Painfully they also don't illuminate both pages or allow the book to be close with them attached.

I bought this unit as it uses substantially powered CR2032 batteries - bought for 99p a card on Amazon BTW.

In use the light illuminates both pages, is super sim and the book will close with it still attached unlike the stick things
and I've now used it for two weeks, an hour a night on the same batteries!

Marvellous - I can't recommend this enough.
I shall buy a second unit as a spare in case I can't get them in future, its that good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mighty Bright - Mighty Good 5 July 2012

Smashing piece of kit that allows me to read at night on holiday without disturbing my wife.
I have not had any problem with the hinges (as reported by others). It stays firmly in place once set.
Batteries seem to last for about 8 to 9 days of heavy use before requiring replacement.

5.0 out of 5 stars great little light 15 Mar 2011
we had bought a different book light (the really tiny book light), which our 2 year old got hold of, thought was a toy and pulled apart with amazing ease. this is much sturdier and despite being pulled and prodded it has stood up well. I have not had the problem of the hinge not being stiff enough mentioned with the other reviewer. the light is bright, and battery life seems OK - not had to replace them yet, but haven't used is loads over the last couple of months.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great little lamp 18 Oct 2011
Bought this for my son for reading at night in a place where good lighting isn't available. It's small, light-weight (ouch!) and bright. Does the job, and does it well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mighty Bright Travel Flex Book Light Black 9 Jan 2011
Mighty Bright TravelFlex Book Light, Black

The one thing that was a disappointment when I purchased my Amazon Kindle was the lack of a back light. Not sure why they didn't include this as a feature. It would be so useful for travelling, or when you wish to read in bed but your partner wants to sleep.

When I came to look for a case for my Kindle, the Amazon Kindle case with integral light looked promising but on reading the reviews, it didn't hold up too well. Quite a number of the reviewers recommended another case together with this Mighty Bright light. I bought both and I am really pleased. The cost of both was substantially less than the Kindle cover.

The Mighty Brite runs from one AAA battery which lasts for ages. It is really robust and provides a very bright light which covers a small area and can be easily directed so that it doesn't annoy other people. It has an integral clip which is ideal for clipping onto your Kindle case or indeed the cover of a book.

I was given the ideal opportunity for testing this out as, shortly after purchasing it we did a coach trip from the North West to the Christmas Markets in Belgium and Holland, over three days. Many hours travelling, much of it in the dark, and there is a limit to how long you can sleep on a coach. This was ideal as I was able to use my Kindle without disturbing the sleep of other passengers, including my travelling companion. It also came in handy as a torch for finding lost keys, identifying luggage etc.

I cannot recommend it highly enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light for Kindle 26 Jan 2011
I have a Kindle 3 in a Tuff-Luv saddleback leather case (excellent!). Researching for a light, most were 3 AAA battery driven, giving variable light output. These seemed fine, although with bases a little on the large size. Then I read a review on this "travel-flex book light" that basically said, "why bother with adjustable light output, - one LED is sufficient". Very true - there is more than enough output to evenly light the whole Kindle, and the smaller size battery base and clamp attaches fine to the flip-over Tuff-Luv cover, with more than enough flex to adjust the light position. I did not want to rely on an attachment that clamps onto the Kindle itself. Seems well made. Can't fault it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mighty Bright TravelFlex Book Light, Black 23 Jan 2011

It is a very good little device, great for travelling or in bed. And reading where ever it is dim or unable to read clearly, I recommend this item that has a Kindle to buy one.

Mighty Bright Light Duet

A very good product BUT do not buy the mains power supply advertised because the Mighty Bright Light Duet will only work on batteries!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good light, but
The light works fine, and the price was good. But it does not clip securely to my Kindle - the clip needs to have a slightly opening, and a rubber grip piece on both jaws. Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Too bright
What good is a reading light that lights up the whole room - I may as well turn the light on. Ok it's not that bad and one star is maybe harsh - the product itself is good quality. Read more
